Ancien bâton de tambour servant à frapper ces intruments traditionnels aussi appelés "Garamut". Tête d'oiseau (Cacatoès ?) sculptée en partie haute. Collecté dans dans la vallée du fleuve Sépik. Trés belle patine d'usage. Vendu avec un socle.

Ritual drum' stick collected in the Sepik valley area in Papua New Guinea, and used to play on a big slit drums also called Garamut. Bird's head carved on top art (cockatoo?). Used patina. Sold with a base.
