Belle figure nogwi du peuple Kwoma. La nogwi intervient pendant la troisième cérémonie de l'igname célébrant sa récolte. La nogwi symbolise la naissance de ce tubercule sacré. Elle vise à satisfaire les ancêtres pour obtenir une future bonne récolte. Cette troisième et dernière cérémonie est réservée aux initiés. Bois dur et traces de pigments. Exposée et vendue sur socle.
