Petite figure de culte dite "Nogwi" collectée dans le village de Mino en Papouasie Nouvelle Guinée. La Nogwi intervient pendant la troisième cérémonie de l'igname célébrant sa récolte et symbolise la naissance de ce tubercule sacré. Symbole de fertilité, elle vise à satisfaire les ancêtres pour obtenir une future bonne récolte. Traces d'usage avec un manque au niveau d'un pied. Vendue montée sur socle.
