Baining mask

Grand masque baining dit "kavat" en langue vernaculaire. Masque en trois dimensions de grande taille. A dansé lors d'une cérémonie d'initiation de l'ethnie Bainning dans le nord de la Nouvelle Bretagne. Cette danse traditionnelle se déroule autour d'un immense feu riche en braises.
