LIME POT

Très belle patine d'usage pour ce récipient finement sculpté servant à transporter de la chaux. Chaux, noix d'arec (ou de bétel) et gousses de moutardier forment un mélange de mastication servant notamment de coupe faim (donnant une salive rouge sang). Evocation d'un oiseau en partie haute. Bambou, bois, osier et pigments naturels. Vendu avec un socle.

Interesting used patina for this lime pot finely carved. Bird referred on top part. Betel nuts are chewed with lime and mustardier pods. This mixture is used as a hunger cut.  Bamboo, wood , wicker and natural pigments. Sold with a base.
