Ancien tambour à main appelé Kundu et provennant de la région des Murik lakes en Papouasie Nouvelle Guinée. Ces instruments traditionnels sont utilisés lors de cérémonies ou SingSing. Ces objets très personnels sont difficiles à acquérir tant ils sont précieux pour leurs propriétaires. Celui-ci est ancien, a été visiblement restauré plusieurs fois et ne possède plus de peau. Il reste un objet de collection portant les traces de son ancien usage... Poignée présentant deux visages stylisés typiques de la région des lacs Murik. Finement sculpté. Belle patine d'usage.
