LIME STICK

Bâton sculpté servant à atteindre la chaux au fond d'un récipient en calebasse ou bambou. Humecté de salive, le bâton enduit de chaux sera alors porté à la bouche. Chaux , noix d'arec (ou bétel) et gousses de moutardier forment ainsi un mélange de mastication servant notamment de coupe faim (salive rouge sang). Représentation d'une tête d'ancêtre surmontée de deux becs d'oiseaux (calao et cacatoès). Bois. Vendu soclé.
