Magnifique figure de culte ypwoon. Les ypwoon sont des personnages puissants que l'on invoque avant de partir à la chasse ou à la guerre. L'esprit du Ypwoon va chercher, trouver et enfin guider le chasseur jusqu'à sa proie. On ne les trouve que dans les régions traversées par les rivières Blackwater, korewori et Korosameri. Ce Ypwoon a la particularité d'être très courbé et d'avoir été enduit de chaux. Sculpture extrèmement fine. Pièce exceptionnelle, exposée et vendue soclée (à noter la prouesse du socleur...)

Perfect cult figure called Ypwoon. The Ypwoon is a powerful character called before leaving to the hunting or to the war. The spirit of Ypwoon fetches, find and finally guide the hunter up to to its prey. We find them only in regions crossed by rivers Blackwater, korewori and Korosameri.
