Tête de sculpture papoue appelée Ypwoon, présentée et vendue sur socle. Le Ypwoon est l'un des objets les plus stylisés et symboliques de la région du fleuve Sépik. Il représente un être humain en deux dimensions avec une jambe, des os, son coeur situé au milieu et la tête. Cette sculpture est à deux dimensions. Ce spécimen avait la particularité d'avoir été sculpté dans le tronc d'une fougère. Objet authentique ayant servi.

Head of a Ypwoon sold on base. The Ypwoon is one of the most stylised and symbolic item of the sepik region. It represents a human being with one leg, bones, its heart in the middle and the head.This carving is basically two-dimensional.
