Masque sur pied en bois dur représentant un ancêtre spirituel mi homme mi animal. Forme en rondeur et tout en volume typique de la région du bas Sépik. Présence de deux têtes d'oiseaux stylisées en partie frontale. Bois patiné. Belle pièce tribale très sobre. Manque d'usage à l'arrière, visible sur les photos agrandissables de détails.

Mask on hard wood carved with a base and representing a spiritual ancestor half man half animal. Form in roundness and everything in volume, typical of the low Sepik area. Presence of two stylized heads of birds on frontal part. Skated wood. Nice very sober tribal item. Lack of usage in the back, visible on pictures of details.
