Imposant personnage en vannerie (h: 134 cm) collecté dans la région Wosera (ethnie Abelam) en Papouasie nouvelle Guinée. Tressage complexe représentant un ancêtre probablement exposé dans le faîtage d'une case de cérémonie. Tête en bois léger et corps en tressage en jonc. Pièce unique vendue avec un socle de présentation.
