Rare totem de case de cérémonie Kwoma collecté dans le village de Banguis en Papouasie Nouvelle Guinée. Ce type de pièce est attaché horizontalement, figures tournées vers le bas, à la charpente. Ici, une figure Minja, évoquant le culte de fertilité observé lors des récoltes d'ignames, surmontée d'un oiseau calao. Vendue avec un socle de présentation.
