Exceptionnelle planche votive appellée "Gope". Les planches gope sont exposées dans la maison des hommes et sont associées aux cérémonies d'initiation.. Ces planches rituelles, souvent exposées à proximité des porte- crânes, servent à éloigner les maladies et faire fuir les mauvais esprits... La chaux blanche accentue les dessins sculptés. Pigments rouges à base de palétuviers. Possibilité de soclage sur demande.

Old ancestor's board called "Gope". Gope boards are exposed in the haustambaran ( men's house) and are associated to the ceremonies of initiation. usually exposed near the skull racks, they serve for avoid the diseases and for frightening the bad spirits...
