OLD DRUM'S FRAGMENT

Tête d'un ancien tambour à fente appelé "garamut". Le tambour à fente de village sert principalement de moyen de communication, mais peut également servir à rythmer les cérémonies traditionnelles ou "singsings". Ce fragment en bois dense érodé par le temps et l'usage représente une tête de crocodile, animal symbole de puissance suprême.
